MWEB Overview

MWEB is known to be the second largest Internet Service Provider in South Africa. It offers a range of internet access offerings, differentiated tools and services to approximately 320 000 customer. The company comprises three main divisions: MWEB Connect, which is focused on the Residential and Small business market, MWEB Business which offers products and services for medium and large businesses to integrate their IT infrastructure and business processes with the Internet, and MWEB WiFi, a new division providing high-speed Uncapped WiFi in public areas for consumers and businesses. MWEB also launched dial-up internet in South Africa with the Big Black Box in 1997.

MWEB is owned by Multichoice South Africa, a subsidiary of JSE-listed Naspers media group. The ISP operates nationally, with its headquarters in Cape Town and offices in the cities of Johannesburg and Durban. The company has five retail stores in South Africa, in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Cape Town, and Durban.

width0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 or 9The width of the resulting image in digits. Extra zeros will be added to the beginning. If the width is too short for the number to be displayed, it is lengthened so that all digits may be displayed. Default is 4.
style*any name of the the digits you see above, for example, led,or the reserved value simple. Should not contain spaces.Specifies the set of digits to use in constructing the final image, or specifies the use of the simple style. Should be all lower-case
ordyes or no (must be lowercase).If ord=yes, an ordinal number will be outputted. An ordinal number is a number like 345th, 10871st, 22nd, etc. The default is no

This argument has no meaning when style does not equal simple. The default is 000000 (black).
fgcolourRRGGBBWhen using the simple style, specifies the foreground colour of the image. Same format as bgcolour. The default is FFFFFF (white).
inc0, 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5Determines how much to increment the counter. Using 0 means the counter will not increment. Using a value less than 0 will result in no increment. Using a value greater than 5 will result in an increment of 5.

  1. Replace the 'recip' and 'from' fields with the recipient's e-mail address.
  2. Replace the 'subj' field with the subject line that should appear when the recipient gets the e-mail.
  3. Where [email protected] is the address you wish to receive the responses on, it is important that 'recip' and 'from' email addresses are the same.
  4. Replace the 'followup-page' with the http address of your own confirmation page.
  5. Once you have added the above into your html, you need to email [email protected] with 'response form' in the subject.
  6. The message body must include the email address you wish to receive responses on and your domain name.
  7. Webmaster will add the address to the authorised list of users and the response form will start working.
